Dear Sir or Madam,
My name is Dave Sabey and I work for CARTUS (www.cartus.com) an International Relocation Company. I found your details on the Vlaamse Club London website and I was hoping you would be able to help me.
As a part of our service, CARTUS offers relocating business professionals and their families one- or two-day training programs, run by our specially trained consultants, aimed at smoothing the transition from one country and culture to another. The programs are made up of two main sections. Firstly the participants are given theoretical methods and frameworks to allow them to recognise their own National culture and the culture of others. Then the participants are offered a number of customised presentations given by ‘experts’ in certain fields. It is for the latter section that I am contacting you.
I am currently working with a British couple who will shortly be relocating to Belgium. As a result I am looking for a Belgian National to give them a presentation about the history, politics and culture in Belgium and how this affects the way the Belgians behave. The presentation will take place on Monday 12th July in Wokingham and will be entitled “Values and Key Themes Shaping the Behaviour of Belgian Nationals”. I have attached a guideline of the topics that could be covered by the presentation for your information. It would ideally last around an hour and a half and will take place in English. The presentation is paid and any necessary travel to and from the training site will be reimbursed, either in full for public transport or at a fixed rate per mile by car.
If you know of anyone that would be willing and able to give the presentation, please feel free to forward this email onto them, alternatively you can contact me either by email or direct on 01793 756177.
Thanks and Kind regards,
Dave
